  1. Swoooooo.... I thought the genocide issue had been in a standstill since Jewish people and Hitler. Clearly this is no longer the case, having read that it says the U.S. has given them the responsibility but not the power was kind of a low blow to our country. Its like saying we have this huge problem and we know you know about it, and its your fault for not helping us fix our problem. Even though we're seemingly plenty capable of nuking everyone, I think its been smart of the U.S. to react as we have so far. Questions are still to be answered towards this situation.

  2. I agree about the statement Kody made about the U.S. given the responsibility but not the power was a low blow to our country.I also cant see how the militia can just kill anybody and have people know about it and how we are not doing more to stop the genocide from killing all their people just because of the fault in their govenmnet.

  3. I think this is very sad for all of the families that are going through this. This has been going on for awhile now and seems like no one is helping. We are given the responsibility but do not have the power to help. We are fighting our own war at the moment so no we do not have the power to go and help. Who are we going to send to help? I hope this can be stopped and resolved soon.

  4. In response to Kody and Kristi I think you have to realize that it is our responsibility to do something about this. Genocide in this region has been f=going on for decades and we cant use a ten year old war as an excuse. The american government and the British government have known about this for a long time and, though the Brits have taken some initiative, the relief efforts for these atrocities have been left to people like you and me who have to get mass public attention without a lot of help or guidance. We stole citizens and resources t=from these people for years, as is did other first world countries, we have to admit that we owe them help with relief efforts and accept blame where we have faulted these people. It is unacceptable and our government should be held accountable.

  5. I think that this is an absolute tragedy. People should be allowed to be who they want to be this time in the world. Its sad to think that others can control people to the extreme that they do, and if they do not abide by there rules or regulations situations like this happen.

  6. Again and again we witness these horrible acts. Our government should step in and correct this issue, we should take charge. We need to raise awareness in our community about this issue, so that our community is informed and become involved. We cannot allow these people to get away with this.

  7. This is very upsetting to hear that innocent lives are being taken by their own government. Though we have a war going on of our own. i think we should help as much as we can. We are considered one of the great powers and i think we should step in and help those in need.

  8. Could this be a form of white collar crime? Maybe the rich get richer and poor get killed? I dont know the actual reasoning for all of the killing going on, but people do kill because of greed. Government officials could be reaping in the benifits. Officials could be taking in the aid given by other countries and they could be keeping the money, making the rich get richer. The rich in this country dont care about the lifes of others because this termoil is fueling their bank roll.
