Female Fans go Crazy Over Cannibal Serial Killer
Check out this bizarre story on a Canadian Cannibal Serial Killer who has a substantial following of female fans!!! My Intro to CRJ class will probably eat this story up!! Ok...bad pun!

This is another classic sign of straight up crazy people. Some of these people need to have there heads examined. This person has bee accused of murdering someone and tasting his flesh. He needs to be locked up and not see the light of day. I think it is always weird when someone commits a crime, all of sudden he was abused as a child. If this was truly the case why did he not seek help or sometype of counseling. How come he is in the porn business having all types of sex. The same thing happened when Charles Manson was put in jail. The bandwagon craz people come out of there caves. Another example of people not seeing the whole picture and wanting to jump on a cause to jump on a cause, or become famous.
ReplyDeleteI do not understand why these women are fighting for him. It's really surprising to see one girl say "I've seen worse in horror films. I really like horror films". It is really creepy that they don't care what he has been accused of. Maybe it's an act of deviance on their part. It seems that they are craving attention as well, and by following and supporting Luka and making those kinds of statements, they are getting exactly what they want. It’s interesting how the media is focusing more on Lukas fans than on the case itself. Another thing I find frustrating by most criminal cases is the fact they often say the criminal was abused as a child, like that makes it somewhat ok or understandable? Yes, it may have made life a lot harder, but the individual still can make the decision to try and make better out of their selves. It is not an excusable pass to go out and be a criminal.If these women really wanted to help him, they should have done it before he could commit the crimes.
ReplyDeleteThis is outrageous. This right here shows how crazy people are. Yes he might be handsome and abused when he was a child, but these should not be used as an excuse for his actions. He had the nerve to kill, cut up, and taste his lover. Then, he sent out body parts to schools, especially women. This to me is very sad. Who want this as a mate. Why do people try to support people after they commit the act? If these people cared so much than they should of been there before he committed this crime.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say about this article.....okay I think I know....PEOPLE ARE CRAZY NUTCASES that is all!!!! I was shocked and appalled by many of these women (ugg I even hate to admit them to the same sex I belong to) said they believe this man who is an admitted cannibal is misunderstood. I think the one that disturbed me the most was the girl that said she has watched the murder video over 20 times and that she has seen horror movies that are worse. Does she not understand that after a scene from a horror film when the director yells CUT and the scene is finished the actor gets up and goes to his or her trailor for some lunch. This Jen Lin did not do that after she watched that scene he was really dead then cut up and eaten. Do not mistake my disgust with this situation though as something I think is reflective of the day and age we live in because I do not. These types of stories have always surfaced where there have been stories of killers. Manson has his groupees, Ted Bundy had his heck even one of the Menendez brothers got married while he has been in prison. These types of people in society who feel the need to associate themselves with these sick individuals are sick themselves and possibly need to be put away as well.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have to admit, when I heard Dr. G talk about how some male serial killers got attention from females, I was like "okay, whatever, maybe those that wish they could commit those kind of acts themselves". The ones that are just as crazy, but don't have the stomach to actually kill, but this story has totally changed my mind. I love horror movies, but I could not dare sit and watch a live murder take place; especially more than once!! I believe that half of his followers are doing this for publicity, they want to be in the same spotlight as the Canadian, but not in the same spot (prison). Some of them probably have no life, especially a love life if you ask me. But what caught my attention is how its said that some of these followers are wondering the "why", I can honestly see that being a reason for some, but not all his followers. I love a good mystery, wondering who did it, and there motive. So I can see how some followers are just trying to obtain information, the "why", and if its more to the story. I also wanted to comment on a comment made by a student referring to the young man's past, I know it seems like that rape or abuse is the reason behind their motives, but some are really broken by these situations. I do agree that it is no reason to kill, but some people are really traumatized from their past and it does affect their future decision making. Things like that can either "make or break" an individual, depending on the support and help they receive after the fact.
ReplyDeleteThis is a classic case of the Richard Ramirez craze with a dash of Dahmer. I don't see the logic in following a crazy man who not only wanted to murder you, but wouldn't mind having you as a late night snack as well, and not the good kind. I already feel like I understand why cannibals enjoy doing what they do, but I personally would not enjoy eating people, nor would I take pride in being consumed by a madman, or anyone for that matter. I can see people appreciating who he is, but to create a cult following of him simply because they think he is a good person? He was accused of MURDERING his lover, not living happily ever after with him. Plus he liked it in the ass, so I highly doubt he would enjoy what these women are trying to offer up to him.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I have no idea what’s wrong with these women. First of all, he’s homosexual (I’m not homophobic), which means he has no interest in women. Secondly, he’s a murderer! Being a high-profile murder victim doesn’t sound like the type of fame I want! The fact that he killed, and then ate a man that he had intimacy with speaks volumes. Imagine who else he could’ve done the same thing to that he had less feelings for. The things that happen in the world today are absolutely crazy. Then to have a fan base set around these crazy things is even crazier!
ReplyDeleteI at a loss for word I mean this is simply I feel people just looking for attention which truly isn’t a surprise I mean we are in America. But this kid killed somebody and actually ate them what I don’t get why you would want to even support or want this person. And as far as the childhood stuff everybody tries to come up with a excuse for why they do things instead of just growing som nuts and taking responsibility for their actions. But these women actually wanting this guy actually makes me feel like they need to be checked out.
ReplyDeleteSome people are just attracted to crazy individuals. I don't understand the psychology behind it but there it is. This guy killed his lover and tasted him, then he mailed body parts to schools among other places. THIS IS NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOR. How can you feel that this is a good person? Chris Rock said that when you first meet a person it's not them that you're meeting, it's their representative. That person can be just as nice as can be...until you end up on their stove.
ReplyDeleteIt is always amazing to see followers of killers, but it happens with a lot of them. This guy is not different. However it is still weird and creepy! This man killed his male lover and ate part of his body and then sent it around to government facilites. For someone to follow a man like this worries me, because it shows that the "crazy" are not only behind bars but also in public amoungst us. I understand the girls wanting to understand why he committed the crimes but to be obessed with him and dream and long for him is the hard to understand part.

I think that it is sick to support a person like that other if you are his family or friends and know something about him but like that no. He killed his lover and ate him and then send other parts to authorities. Anyways i think that this is sick and some people need some other hobbies, just imagine if there would be a group like that for Ted Bundy or somebody like him.
ReplyDeleteThis man, Luka, was seriously messed up when he was a kid. He was some sort of abused to say the least. Most killers or serial killers have a bad child hood and do not know how to handle it and then in turn become the horrible people that they are today. Someone who records themselves murdering a person, cutting them up into pieces, trying their flesh, then sending the pieces to different places and puts it on the internet for the whole world to see is very mentally ill. He wanted to show dominance over his lover and also show how smart he was to the authorities when sending the body parts in. Luka put much thought into this entire process. These girls that are showing him support aren’t helping much. His main goal was to get all the attention possible whether it is from the media or young girls that felt sorry for him. So they are basically supporting him and the murder. He does not even like girls so these girls that want him sorry y’all are out of luck. These girls, just like him, want publicity because honestly there is no way a normal person would support a cannibalistic murderer.

Luka has to have more wrong with him than just having an abusive childhood, maybe some kind of personality disorder also. he deserves to stay locked up for a very long time, along with his crazy "support group"

ReplyDeleteThis is absurd and disturbing. I really don't see how this attracting people, females especially. This reminds me of the revenge killer that would kill her lovers after having relations with them, as a way to show that they didn't have the advantage over her.
ReplyDeleteThe old saying that girls go for the bad boy's is very true in this case. This man was accused of murdering, eating, and disposing of the body of his once lover. How any woman can find that attractive is far beyond me! I think it speaks more volume on how sick his followers than maybe he is. They support him even though they know the horrors he is capable of!

I think society should take note to people who have a curiosity towards killing and methods of killing… I think this fan club/support system goes beyond the scope of infatuation; this is a form of deviance behavior and these people could act on their impulses and sympathies for like-minded people.

I cannot believe people actually liked his page. He killed someone on camera and then attempted to eat him. I hope these people didn’t actually believe this is okay. Also, a lady said she liked his page because he needed support? He needs nothing but jail time, and a doctor. First of all, he killed his lover, then ate his lover, and finally mailed the body part. This is not normal or ethical. I’m just wondering why he did this. This guy reminds me of Jeffrey Daumer. I truly believe this man probably has mental problems.

But I cant decide which is crazier, this or the fact that girls are attracted to him for whatever reason. One hes a homosexual, so the girls are not in any luck there, two hes probably going to be in prison for a long time, and three, hes a crazy psycho killer that is sick in the head, and needs help, although i dont think there is ever going to be any normalcy in his mind. Once you kill someone, eat them, mail their body parts out and got it all on camera, I think that's pretty much rock bottom, ha.
ReplyDeleteThis is not only the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard but it is also quite horrifying. How is someone attracting fans when he murders kittens and his boyfriend. And not only did he murder him, but he dismembered him, tasted him and then mailed him to multiple schools in the area. Apparently that is how to pick up girls these days. What’s scary is that, that is not even the weirdest thing about the article. An 18 year old student from the U.K. stated “He is a beautiful man, but it isn't that. I'm attracted with who is inside of him. I'll support him no matter what." How can someone support and cannibalistic kitten killer? Not only support him, but also idolize him. Some girl created a Facebook fan page for him and had roughly 1400 supporters before the page was closed down. This just shows how loony some people in this world truly are. Personally I could never support a person, who kills innocent kittens for fun, let a lone people. I hope they lock this guy away for life and hopefully these people who idolize him get much needed help.
ReplyDeleteFirst off I did kind of laugh at the Justin Beiber joke. But seriously I remember reading this awhile back and I never kept up with the story. I just remember when I read the story they had found the man he killed dismembered and such but didn’t know where the perp was. It’s good to see he was finally found and kept in jail. He is obviously very crazy to do something like this. It’s one thing to murder someone but to cannibalize them as well proves crazy. It’s really creepy that all of these women are all over him though. That just seems disgusting and they obviously have no respect for the dead in this case. It seems like those people also need help with this killer. It seems even weirder to be following someone who wouldn’t mind eating you.. That seems like that would put people off on wanting to have a cult for him. Hopefully this man is put away for a long time and these girls won’t be seeing him any time soon. I wonder how he feels about these girls having groups for him..

How can that one lady say, "he is a beautiful man, but it isn't that. I'm attracted with who is inside of him. I'll support him no matter what." You support him for who is inside him? Soooo, you support his ex lover? Because he ate him, therefore he is inside of him. I think that Luka Magnotta is very crazy. I do not know how all these girls think he is attractive. Plus his face is fake and altered, You would think after hearing he's a cannibal they would think otherwise, but no they are attracted to him. If that did not turn them off you would think him being gay would. They make blogs about him. They fantasize and obsessed over him. I can not believe they are defending a guy who took his lover and sliced him up, tasted him, and then mailed his body parts to schools and government offices. What a sick man! Also accused of killing baby kittens! He says he needs help because he is suffering from physical and sexual abuse growing up. That's a bunch of crap. I think your help is long gone. If anything we should give your help away to those girls who are attracted to you because they obviously have something going on in their heads as well. This reminds me of Richard Ramirez. He may not have been a cannibal but he was charged with 13 murders and 30 other criminal counts. He was not attractive at all just like Magnotta, but he still had women followers who adored him.
ReplyDeleteI find it quite disturbing that our society is obsessing over a cannibal, in a very supportive way. They are giving Luke Magnotta all of the attention he was hoping for, and are okay with it. In the article an individual made a comparison between this incident and a horror movie. This occurrence definitely should not have been thought of as “I’ve seen worse in horror films.” I understand the obsessions that crazy fans may have, but the support they are giving him after he chopped up and tasted his lover seems surreal. Magnotta killing kittens on a video should have quickly thrown up a red flag; instead he is complimented on it. At this point, I would not be surprised if an individual is encouraged by a fan base to kill someone anytime soon. The websites supporting the cruel behavior of this porn star should be taken down and should also be an eye opener to how blood thirsty people can be. I can’t get passed the fact that he allegedly tasted his lovers flesh, and yet these fans are ranting on about his inner beauty and whatnot.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the world coming too!! Believing that a cannibal needs support REALLY, this person needs something and it’s not facebook support he needs medical attention. Magnotta is getting just what he wanted why else would he record everything that was done. Even when he was arrested in the videos posted below he didn’t seem to be bothered by the fact that he was on his way to jail he had a semi-smile on his face which lets you know how disturbed Magnotta is. If Magnotta is that disturbed I could only imaged what these so-called supporters. Comparing this heinous act to a horror film is just unacceptable. How can you be ok with watching something that is like a horror movie but know its real and watch it multiple times that is truly a disturbed person. The fan page should have been taken down before it was able to reach 1400 fans/supports but I am glad that it is taken down now and I hope that all the individuals who are fans get some serious help.
This boy is crazy and another Jeffery Dahlmer! Ok, it is one thing to kill someone but to cut it up and then mail the body parts to school members is totally insane. It is hard for me to believe that no one has noticed the signs of his mental illness from early on. I have no sympathy for this one other to know that he has some severe mental issues. I don’t think there is any hope for this person. I just hope that he is provided with the best medical attention that is available to him.
