It breaks my heart just to think that so many children are dying, being mistreated and sent out to fight at such a young age. In one of videos it talks about how they go and all sleep together at night. They do this to avoid being kidnapped, if Kony’s people were to go in, they would at least try to fight them all together. Like one big family!! The face of fear in these kids is so painful to watch. In our international gangster’s class, we did an event to promote awareness on campus (KONY KRUSADERS 2012). For the most part, students are aware of what is going on and what has been going on for 20+ years.
Its very sad but the the truth is that other Goverments are makeing money off this pain in Uganda .The youth is becomeing very violent and being put in state of fear that one day they will be firced to fight wars that thwey have nothing to do with ,i fell that it must take golbal efffort to stop crime and wars of this magutude.
I think this is just overall a very sad topic, and a tragedy that unfrotunately half of our generation was unaware of until a video went Viral. It speaks a lot on the fact that as soon as the video went viral, everyone EVERYONE became activists. It was the hot topic on facebook, and treding on Twitter, but only for about a week, and that says a lot on the attention spand of most people within our generation.
