The title of the story caught my eye, because honestly I guess I didn’t think tomb raiders still existed. Although I think it’s kind of cool that these so called “tomb raiders” look for archaeological treasures, it makes me wonder what do they exactly do them on the black market. It’s not the thieves can sell the treasures to the museum I would supposed as wouldn’t that signal red flags as to where they got the statue? Although what they did was wrong, some good came of it. At least officials were able to stop the thieves as well as see where the legendary Roman emperor Caligula may have possibly resided. When I read this story I immediately thought of Tomb Raider and India Jones, which kind of made me giggle. Because although I’m sure it took some work and ingenuity to find and retrieve the statue in the first place, I know there weren’t any huge rolling boulders or booby traps.
