  1. WoW...its hard to believe that so many high ranking mob memebers were so close to us... I mean i never really gave much thought about the mafia..I mean i knew about them but because i never really heard about them i considered them to be something from the movies... stupid i know... I am really glad that the law enforcment agents got so many of these dangerous people off the streets, it makes me feel safer, but no matter what, these mob members will continue to do what they are doing. If some of these people are connected to the higher ranking mob families you can garuntee that they will be doing there work from the inside or even before they go to jail they will problably have some one come and take out a witness so that way they can't testify at trail. its scary to think that mafia memebers are all around us..

  2. I love learning about the maffia! With that said I am happy that they were caught. I don't really agree with there lifestyle. But the fact that the government caught so many at one time is really impressive. This just goes to show the man power the U.S. really has. I don't think that its scary that mafia members are all around us, I actually think it is pretty cool!

You are right about the way high ranking mob members can be living as close to you as if they are living the very same neighborhood. I agree on the movie thing, I used to think the same thing. One thing I notice about the mafia members is it is hard to truly eliminate them completely. There is known members working as political agents and may even have some working to cover their tracks. That saying of slaying the beast by "cutting off the head" is hard to use when one does not know who truly controls it all. With that being said weeding them out could lead to a war within the states maybe even the country. Then the chance of civilians beginning to distrust their own government and makes it harder for new potiential leaders to take office and will have a lot to clear up. So in a way the view of the current this will be a lose/lose situation that would hopefully repair itself.
