Infamous Trail of the Barefoot Bandit

  1. I found his fugitive route very interesting. I thought that the states that he choose to flee through were a very wise choice. I know that if I was on the run in America, I would also prefer such states as Idaho and South Dakota. People are making a big deal about him eluding police, but really he did not face much of a challenge. Also, the FBI had much bigger priorities than burglary and grand theft auto. Colton would at least have to rob a bank to garner appropriate attention from the FBI.

  2. I just took a trip through Idaho on my way to Astoria, Oregon and you would starve there Nick! Even the Sonics are out of business aside from Boise where you would get caught! :)

  3. You could live off of nuts and berries in Idaho....:) I bet that was your plan.

  4. Haha, I was referring more to the State Police. I do not think South Dakota's Finest would be very intimidating. On a different note, did you ever go to the Angola Rodeo for the documentary? I am still very interested in tagging along with you if you have not gone yet. I am going to be back the first week in August if you can wait that long!

  6. Oklahoma cancelled their prison rodeo due to the economy so I am going to wait for the next go around so I can cover both rodeos in one year rather than splitting things up. I want to be able to make a comparison between the two within a short amount of time. Of course, you are welcome to join when they roll around again. Thumbs up!
